Mentor Student relationship in Ragnarok M Eternal Love came with both responsibility and benefits. If you are a new player and having a hard time grinding for experience it would be best if you look for a Mentor now. As for players that is level 85 above and looking to share you knowledge to newbies of the game then you better be looking for a student.

In this guide I will explain what is a Mentor Student relationship and the benefits you can get in any of those two. I will also tell you how to be a Mentor and as a student how you can maximize your Mentor to gain the most out of it. Let’s go ahead and discuss it together.

What is a Mentor?

To be a Mentor you must first level 85 and have completed the quest given by Terch, the Adventurer’s Guild Senior Mentor. The NPC is located on the top part of Prontera. As a mentor your role is to help low level players though their adventures and struggles in playing the game of Ragnarok M Eternal Love. The main role being is to Buff your students everyday using the two items below:

Mentor buff to be used in Students last 24hrs

Adventure Guide – 170% bonus experience for 24 hours
Guardian Scroll – +20 stats on all attributes (Novice only)

Mentor benefits

There’s only one benefit of being a Mentor and that is the ability to gain Mentor medal which is being used in buying the items listed below on Mentor shop:

But in my personal opinion I believe that the best thing about being a Mentor is the ability help those low level players and they are actually grateful about it. Not to be cheesy about it but its actually quite fulfilling. Just like writing these articles are to me.

Student benefits in having a Mentor

Just like what I said there’s really not much you can gain after being a Mentor but bragging rights. However as a students you can gain a lot of things through the Buffs that your Mentor will give you. These Buffs will expire after 24 hours so having an Active player as a Mentor is a must.

170% bonus experience for 24 hours
As a novice you can gain +20 on all attributes
Huge amount of experience after finishing your Daily mission

Where to collect your rewards as a Mentor and Student

To gather your rewards, both Mentor and Student can go to More > Friends > and there you can see a Graduation Hat logo just like the picture below:

There will be a red dot indicator on that window if you can now collect something. For Mentor it will be Mentor Medal and for Students that would be Base and Job experience with a little bit of Zeny.

Facts about Mentor Student system in Ragnarok M Eternal Love

Maximum of 3 students for each Mentor
Once the student hits level 85 he does a mini quest to graduate and get his PHD hat
You can remove a student immediately from your list but you will have to wait 24 hours until you can replace him/her.
If a student is not active within 72 hours you’re free to remove the student, with no 24 hour cooldown for replacing the student.
If you make a level 84 character a student and he reaches level 85 within the same day, he is not allowed to graduate unless he stays under your tutelage for 72 hours.
