3. Present your Postal ID requirements to the Cashier and wait to be validated.

Postal ID requirements and Valid IDs

• Submit any one (1) of the following ID:
  • Birth Certificate issued by NSO (now called PSA).

  • Birth Certificate issued by Local Registry Office
  • GSIS ID – For government employee
  • SSS UMID Card
  • Driver’s License
  • Passport
• Applicants with none of the above requirements please bring two (2) of any of the following or at least one (1) of which should bear the the applicant’s Photo and signature:

What is a Phlpost Improved Postal ID

A Phlpost Improved Postal ID is the secure version of Postal ID. As you would have encountered when you ask anyone what is the easiest Valid ID to get the first thing they would answer is the Postal ID. Hence you would think that it’s unsecured and easy to falsify? That’s not the case anymore with the Improved Postal ID because it has additional physical security features that can be identified using just the naked eye. Phlpost are also using a bio metrics now to ensure that all cards to be issued are for a real applicants.

All Filipinos living in the Philippines or living abroad but were in the Philippines at the time of application are eligible to get an Improved Postal ID.

How much is a Postal ID?

• Postal ID card + Delivery fee = ₱ 450.00
• + 12% VAT = ₱ 54.00
• Total of = ₱ 504.00

How long will you have to wait for a Phlpost Postal ID delivery?

• You can get it as early as 15 working days up to 30 working days for Islands provinces and remote barangays.
