Updates and latest news about the Philippine Bar Exams 2016 results.
As what you have read above all topnotchers came from provincial law schools, beating out law graduates from usual top performing Metro Manila-based schools. More than half of the 6,344 law graduates who took the 2016 Bar exams hurdled the licensure test, the highest in recent years, according to Associate Justice Presbitero Velasco on Wednesday. A total of 3,747 out of the 6,344 examinees passed the test or a passing rate of 59.06 percent.
And did you know that the 2016 passing rate broke the 16-year-old record set in 1998 for the highest passing rate (75 and above) and Since 1982, the passing average has been fixed at 75%. The highest recorded passing rate was 75.17% in 1954, though the passing rate around that period was considerably lower. Salute to these guys for their hard work!
University of the Philippines nowhere to be found in Supreme court released Top 10 Bar Exams 2016 topnotcher get bashed by netizens
In my opinion you can’t blame the people to get mad considering that UP is being funded by our hard earned Tax. How can we expect a good service from the judicial system if the University that our Taxes is funding can’t even produce a Top 10 topnotcher?
Are we being too hard? NO! They all said the the passing rate is record breaking and it’s possible that the exam is somehow a bit easy so considering that UP has done it every year what’s the difference of this year’s Bar Exam? Answer that question my dear readers.
